Growing Together: My Vision for Farmers, Makers, and Local Businesses
The Heart of Small Business
Small business, to me, means community. It means knowing who you’re buying your products or services from, and feeling the heart and story behind the brand, something you don’t get with the big names and labels. It’s about people who are driven, passionate, and deeply focused on strengthening their local communities through their entrepreneurial dreams. Those are the people I want to stand beside and support. They are the business owners, makers, and growers I dream of working with as I build my future within Alaska’s small business community.
Wild & Locals Mission and Values
Who My Dream Clients Are
Farmers & Growers
Why?
Food security in Alaska is more than important it’s essential. Living in a harsh climate and a state that depends so heavily on imported goods, I know firsthand how critical it is to support our local growers and farmers. For me, this isn’t just about survival; it’s personal. Everyone deserves access to fresh, healthy food from trusted local sources—even here in Alaska. I deeply admire the people who face the challenges of our climate head-on to provide that service to our communities, and I want to be part of supporting them.
Stats on Alaska’s food insecurity
How?
I know how many hats farmers wear, and how many plates they’re constantly spinning. Between planting, harvesting, and navigating unpredictable seasons, it can feel impossible to also manage social media, advertising, or creating community events that draw people in. That’s where I can help. By taking those pieces off their plate, I can give them more time to focus on what they do best—growing food—while helping their businesses thrive and strengthening Alaska’s local food economy.
Small Business Owners & Makers
Why?
I have so much admiration for the people who turn creativity, vision, and grit into a livelihood. Whether it’s makers who bring beauty and originality into the world, or the small business owners whose services keep our communities running—even if they aren’t flashy—both are essential to Alaskan life. I believe these individuals are at the heart of our culture, and keeping their work alive matters. Supporting their dreams, their growth, and their ability to contribute to our community is something I feel deeply called to do.
How?
For makers, artists, and creatives, the challenge often isn’t their talent—it’s finding ways to share it effectively. I want to help highlight their craft in ways that resonate, whether that’s through social media, events, or community connections. Sharing what you love is an artform in itself, and I want to make sure it shines.
For service-based businesses, consistency is everything. By showing up online and building a reliable presence, they can gain visibility and trust within their community. My goal is to support both sides of the small business spectrum—the dreamers and the doers—so they can thrive in Alaska’s unique environment.
Food Entrepreneurs (Restaurants, Bakers, Food Trucks)
Why?
Cooking and baking have always held deep meaning for me. Growing up in a big family where food was love, I learned that meals are more than just nourishment, they’re connection, tradition, and care passed down through generations. That’s why I feel such a strong pull to support those who pour their heart into feeding their communities. Food entrepreneurs aren’t just serving meals; they’re sharing stories, culture, and passion. Helping them grow beyond their kitchen and bring their “why” to life is something I feel deeply connected to.
How?
The food service world is one of the toughest industries to step into—and an even harder one to sustain. Passion, grit, and resilience often mean working long hours and sacrificing personal time. With my 16 years of experience in food service, I understand both the joys and the struggles that come with this work. That’s why I want to step in where it matters most: highlighting local restaurants, bakers, and food trucks who are sourcing locally, investing in community, and building something with heart. By helping them tell their stories on social media, at events, and beyond I can create opportunities for their businesses to grow while keeping their passion alive.
Community Collaborators
Why?
At the core of Wild & Local, I want to be part of making Alaska’s communities stronger. Too often, it’s easy to point out problems without taking action but real change happens when people step up, work together, and create solutions. I believe in being part of that action, no matter how big or small, because even the smallest efforts can ripple into lasting impact.
How?
While this is an area I’m still growing into, I’m eager to connect with nonprofits, local organizations, and community groups that are dedicated to creating positive change. What I bring to the table is a strong work ethic, a love for organization and planning, and a willingness to roll up my sleeves for the good of the community. My dream is to see Wild & Local not just as a brand, but as a recognized partner in community involvement, a name people associate with giving back and showing up.

Building More Than Business
Every business has its own story, its own heartbeat, and its own vision for the future. My role is to walk alongside you to uncover how you want to make an impact and to shape a path that feels authentic to who you are and what you stand for.
At the end of the day, visibility isn’t just about being seen, it's about being remembered, respected, and supported. My goal is to help amplify your voice so that your business not only grows, but also leaves a meaningful mark on Alaska’s communities and beyond.
When we work together, it’s more than strategy it’s building momentum, sparking connection, and creating a legacy of local strength and resilience.
